Regina Maria Roig-Romero

ReginaRegina Maria Roig-Romero MPH, MCHES, IBCLC is a doctoral student and Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Community & Family Health within the College of Public Health at the University of South Florida. Previously, Regina served as the Deputy Breastfeeding Coordinator for the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program in Miami, Florida. Regina also served on the National WIC Association Breastfeeding Promotion Committee.

In 2013, she earned her Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Health Promotion & Disease Prevention from Florida International University, and followed that in 2014 by earning her certification as a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES).

Regina thoroughly enjoys being the mother of her three children, now adults, all of whom were exclusively breastfed.
