Examination Options in 2021

This year, you may have options for taking the examination in English:
Live Remote Proctoring (LRP) -or- sitting the examination at a test centre.

Learn more about making this decision here.

Please read this important IBLCE Examination Options & Examination Day Notice.

Once you have submitted your application for the April/May 2021 examination, you don’t need to contact IBLCE to let us know about your examination modality preference if it is different from what you submitted on the application.  When you schedule your appointment with the testing vendor you are able to select whether you want to sit at a test centre or take it via Live Remote Proctoring. Examination authorisation emails for the April/May 2021 examination administration are expected to go out in February and March.

IBLCE has approved the use of LRP for 2021 IBCLC examination administrations in light of the ongoing global pandemic.  Any use of LRP for IBCLC examinations in 2022 and beyond will be subject to further review.

Please review the financial options available to you in 2021 by clicking “Learn More” below.
