
Bayyinah Muhammad currently resides in Washington, DC, working as a Certified Nurse-Midwife & Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She became an IBCLC in 2015 and has over 15 years in birth work, supporting families as a doula, IBCLC, and L&D nurse in diverse settings, including patient homes, outpatient clinics, birth centers, and hospitals. She has also designed curriculum and procedural processes for supporting families breastfeeding through the life cycle and has been a champion for aspiring IBCLCs.
