COOKIE STATEMENT

Effective date: May 25, 2018

This is the Cookie Statement of the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners® (referred to as IBLCE®, “we”, “us” or “our” in this cookie statement). This cookie statement will inform you as to how we use cookies on our website.

A. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that can be stored on your computer when you visit websites. Information is saved in this text file to ensure a smooth and interactive experience on the internet.

Cookies usually also have an expiration date. For example, some cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser (so-called session cookies), while others can be stored longer on your computer, sometimes until you delete them manually (so-called permanent cookies).

B. How does IBLCE use cookies?

IBLCE does not currently make use of cookies with the exception of the IBLCE Public Registry which utilizes Google Charts.  Google loads cookies if you access the search function and IBLCE does not receive any data related to that service.  To review Google’s privacy policy, please refer to their policy here.

C. How can I see which cookies are installed on my device and how can I remove them?

If you want to know which cookies are installed on your device or if you want to delete them, you can use a setting in your browser.
