The standard IBCLC examination appointment is four hours’ duration. This includes time allocated for reading IBLCE’s non-disclosure agreement, an optional system tutorial, one scheduled break, and the examination content. Additional testing time may be provided for those with documented reasonable accommodations. Thirty (30) extra minutes of time are allocated to the examination content for test takers who attest on the application that their primary language is not among those into which the IBCLC examination is translated.
