IBLCE Test Centre and Pop-up Site Network

If you have already applied or are interested in applying for the September 2021 IBCLC examination administration, IBLCE is providing you additional information about test centre locations. This page will be updated until the examination begins in September to keep you informed.

Test Centre Global Network

Through IBLCE’s testing vendor, IBCLC examination candidates have access to over 500 testing centres in 88 countries, one of the largest global testing networks. To see locations of testing centres, visit the Prometric website to search for your preferred location. Scheduling an appointment at a testing location will take place in July/August for the September 2021 examination. Prometric also provides information related to test centre closings, especially important now as local and country-specific COVID-19 restrictions may impact local test centres.

Additional “Pop-up Site” Locations

For regional or geographic areas where there is no test centre or there is limited test centre capacity, contingent upon IBCLC candidate volume, IBLCE works to facilitate additional locations known as “Pop-up Sites.”

Based on trends in recent past candidate data below is a listing of Pop-up Sites that IBLCE has requested for the September 2021 examination. Given local restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the process involved in facilitating these sites, it is possible that one or more of these sites may not ultimately be available. If available, they also may not accept scheduling until late July or August.  We understand the challenge of living in these uncertain times, so IBLCE has crafted these options for 2021 examination candidates.
