In December 2021, IBLCE announced a periodic revision to the updated Detailed Content Outline (DCO), effective 2023, and consequently, IBLCE is revising the CE Self-Assessment to be in alignment with the updated DCO.
Candidates due to recertify in 2023 are expected to receive access to the CE Self-Assessment in mid-2022. As part of the transition plan, up to 30% of the required CERPS will be determined by the CE Self-Assessment.
Candidates due to recertify in 2024 through 2026 are expected to receive access to the CE Self-Assessment in late 2022. For candidates due to recertify in 2024 and beyond, as a final phase of the transition plan, up to 50% of required CERPs will be determined by the CE Self-Assessment.
CERPs hours earned before taking the CE Self-Assessment may be applied to required areas as identified in the Personalised Professional Development Plan from the CE Self-Assessment.
Release details will be available in the coming months.
