Many candidates have now received their Examination Authorisation Email. IBLCE is continuing the process of disseminating the Examination Authorisation Emails and will continue to do so in the coming days. Thank you for your patience as we work on it.
We have heard from our testing vendor, Prometric, that, as of August 5, 2020, seats are available at most test centres. Once you receive your authorisation email, contact Prometric to reserve your testing appointment.
There are many new considerations for taking the IBCLC examination this year. Please review your options here, which may include: taking the examination at a test centre, taking the examination via Live Remote Proctoring (LRP) in English, or deferring to an examination in 2021.
If taking the examination this year or deferral to next year is not the right option for you, you can consider withdrawal. The deadline to receive a full or partial refund is Saturday, August 15, 2020. You can find an overview of 2020 financial options, including COVID-19-related concerns, here.
